Brian founded Corplan Advisors in May, 2006. To date, Corplan has assisted Owners with Divestitures, Acquisitions ,Management Buyouts (MBO), Employee Share Ownership Plans (ESOP), and Strategic Advice in the following industries: Engineering, Survey & Other Technical Consulting Services, Contracting Services, Other Industrial Services, Health Care, Software, Wholesale & Distribution, Oil, Gas & Pipeline Services, Environmental, Construction, Infrastructure Work, Manufacturing, Fabrication & Processing, Real Estate and Technology.

Prior to Corplan, Brian served nine years with CSI Wireless Inc, including the last four years as Executive VP & CFO. During this term, Brian assisted the Founder with strategic direction and implementation as CSI grew to a market cap of $150M, with its products sold in more than fifty countries. He led CSI through the IPO on the TSX, three acquisitions in Calgary, Phoenix & Silicon Valley, and approximately $44M of equity and bank financings. Brian also assisted the Founder with the strategic decision and the eventual $26 million acquisition of a Kansas-based components distributor in the precision agriculture market.

Brian also has seven years of additional experience in the Private Equity markets, finding, negotiating and managing investments in the following industries: Manufacturing, Processing, Restaurants & Food Service, Real Estate and Media.

Madonna So, CGA, BBA

Madonna So joined Corplan Advisors as a Partner and Vice President in the Fall of 2006. Madonna has ten years of hands-on experience in several financial leadership positions in various industries, including engineering consulting, real estate and technical/scientific. She has also been trained in HR management.

Madonna has strong skills with Excel-based financial forecasting, including sophisticated “what-if” scenarios and bank covenant monitoring. She has been the architect for several comprehensive forecast models for Corplan clients that have been extensively used for our Divestiture, Acquisition and Management Buyout transaction work.

Madonna has a unique combination of a wide-angle corporate vision, multifaceted analytical talents, professional interpersonal skills and a passion for implementation of well conceived plans and priorities. Madonna has successfully coached and worked with engineers, scientists and senior technical staff. In addition, Madonna has led numerous process improvement projects involving operations, sales, customer service and IT teams.
